One reader recently requested ideas for wearing hijab during her wedding in Pakistan. I've had these photos saved for ages now, and they should provide some inspiration. The easiest option when it comes to the headcovering aspect is to wear a plain square or one-piece hijab in a matching colour to the outfit, and pinning the decorative head-piece on top. My favourite of all these has to be the first photo. I love the rich colour and embroidery:

TYPE OF LACE WIGS

Lace wigs fall into 3 general categories: Front Lace Wigs, Full Lace Wigs, and Whole Lace Wigs.

Front Lace Wigs have lace at the forehead extending from ear to ear. Therefore Front Lace wigs cannot be pulled in a high pony tail unlike Full Lace Wigs. Lace front wigs for black women will give you a natural hairline in the front. This means the hair can be parted anywhere throughout the front of the unit. This cap style only has to be glued down or taped in the front and is ideal for women that never want to wear their hair in up-dos or high ponytails or have hair thinning or other medical conditions.

The construction of the crown is made of tracks just like a regular wig. It is usually accompanied with two combs on the front and one on the back. Two adjustable straps with hooks on the back ensure a secure fit. Lace Front is by far the most popular of lace wigs.

Full Lace Wigs by some manufacturers come with lace on the front (ear to ear) and on the back which allows them to be put in a high ponytail. There is no lace on the crown. Some full lace wigs are custom made, and have lace all over which does not allow them to be one size fits all.

The construction of the middle section is made of tracks just like a regular wig. It is usually accompanied with two combs on the front and one on the back. Two adjustable straps with hooks on the back ensure a secure fit.

Whole Lace Wigs offer parting anywhere. The lace is all over. Usually the lace on the front and back is Swiss or French and the lace on the crown is mesh lace. The construction of these wigs is very lightweight, stretchable. They are usually handmade which means the strands of hair are manually tied to the lace. The mesh lace allows for the hair to be parted any where, is breathable and light weight. These wigs still have combs and adjustable straps with hooks for secure fit. Whole Lace is the choice for individuals who have experienced a complete hair loss

AMBER ROSE ENGAGED TO MARRY WIZ KHALIF!

Amber Rose's new man, Wiz Khalifa has already proposed to the model. She said yes and they are planning to marry this summer.

"They actually really, really dig each other. Amber is a sweetheart, and my mom, everybody who meets her loves her anyway", Wiz said about Amber who met his mother. "She's a great girl, she's like one of the best girls in the world. I just want everybody to know how great she is", he added.

"Wiz is going on tour for the next month. But he told her when he gets back, he's going to marry her. And he was serious he asked her to start making plans", one source close to the couple said.

I personally prefer the simpler styles of the bottom two pictures here, though they could do with more neck coverage. I'm not too fond of the idea of swimming in white tulle and organza - we wouldn't want to upstage the cake now, would we?

They have a beautiful selection of hijab-friendly dresses, and although most of us can't get our hands on them, they can provide some inspiration if you plan on making your own. One thing I do dislike though, again, is the strapless dress with a long sleeve top underneath concept, as seen in the first two pictures. FASHIONABLE COUPLE JENNIFER LOPES AND MARC ANTHONY ANNOUNCED DIVORCE

Married life is over for Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony.

The Latino power couple, who tied the knot seven years ago and have two children together, announced on Friday afternoon that they plan on divorcing.

“We have decided to end our marriage … This was a very difficult decision. We have come to amicable conclusions on all matters … It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”

The split comes as a surprise to many, especially as they two had several joint projects in the works. Lopez and Anthony are the parents of twins Max and Emme, who are 3 years old.

They gave no indication of what their plans are for custody of the children.

Recently Jennifer Lopez or usually familiar with the name J. Lo and Marc Anthony announced their divorce. Both agreed to a divorce. Nevertheless, Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez still will cooperate for their reality show program.

celebrity couples who have twins are committed to jointly working on a reality show named ‘¡Q’viva! The Chosen Will go on’. They will still look for the event in accordance with a predetermined schedule.

This was disclosed the couple spokesman, Simon Fuller. “Show will keep running,” says Fuller. This reality show is an event to look for new talent in 21 countries in Latin America.

The statement about the celebrity couple divorce was surprising the public. Understandably, during this Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony always seem intimate in every opportunity.

Their home lives too far away from the gossip is not tasty. In a statement regarding his divorce, J. Lo and Anthony admitted it was the toughest decision they should take.

Hijab Street Styles

I just came across these street style photos over at Vogue.co.uk and was pleasantly surprised to find these fashion-forward yet modest outfits.

First up is this photo of Mary Kate Steinmiller in a beautiful flowing grey maxi skirt, teamed with a t-shirt and cropped leather jacket. I love this city-chic look and the way different textures and fabrics are contrasted. Try skipping the belt for a more modest fit around the waist:
