How to Wear Hijab Guide: the qatari style

I personally love this style---it is the loosely worn hijab that looks effortlessly chique but it uses quite a few stick pins (in my case). I call it Qatari because that is where the look predominately originated. Unlike the girl in the top pic, I usually wear another hijab underneath like an al amira or a scarf tied behind the head and one end of that covering my neck so no neck or ears show [just earrings if I want to style them out] but you could wear a turtleneck as Jana over at Hijabstyle suggested when she did a similar post a while ago. The key to this look though, is folding the shayla over on top of itself so that it drapes slightly and wrapping the ends inside the hijab rather than over eachother. Hard to explain so here's a link to a video. It does contain loud music and a bit of bad language (can't remember if this particular one does though) but the sister has amazing style and the sweetest intentions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mecPaRztM7c&feature=channel

Depending how long and fat your shayla is, and how loosely you drape it, you get alot of variations. Disclaimer:*****DO wear ANOTHER HIJAB FOR COVERAGE UNDER THIS STYLE OR IN THE WORDS OF BABA ALI----ITS NOT HIJAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
